Deanston 2011 14 Year Old Cask #300659 Gleann Mor Rare Find

This 14 Year Old Deanston comes to us from Gleann Mòr Rare Find. Aged in a Napa Valley red wine barrique, this whisky marries the waxy and malty character of Deanston whisky with the fruity influence of red wine casks leading to greater complexity and depth of flavour. On the nose there are notes of strawberries, raspberries, with cinnamon and ginger spice, leading to ripe berries, sultanas, and black pepper spice on the palate.
