1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity) and Tavern-Drinks ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website as well as any other media form, channel, or mobile application related or linked thereto (collectively, the "Site"). These Terms apply to the browsing of the Site and the purchase of any goods made through the Site.

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.

 

We reserve the right to make changes or modifications to these Terms at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that specific order.

 

2. Age Restrictions & Legal Compliance

  • Age Verification: You may only purchase alcoholic products or age-restricted beverages from us if you are at least 18 years old (or of the legal drinking age in your applicable jurisdiction) and are not purchasing them for anyone under the legal age.

  • Compliance Checks: We reserve the right to carry out age, identity, payment, and fraud verification checks where necessary. If we are unable to verify that you meet the legal age requirements, your order may be cancelled.

  • Delivery Verification: Couriers delivering age-restricted goods on behalf of Tavern-Drinks may require proof of age and a valid signature upon delivery.

3. Our Products & Descriptions

  • Representations: We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors, features, specifications, and details of the products available on the Site. However, we do not guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color or product packaging will be entirely accurate.

  • Vintage & Batch Changes: For specialty and artisan beverages, vintages, batch numbers, and bottle designs may change. If a specific vintage or release changes dynamically, we will endeavor to update the product page or contact you prior to dispatch.

  • Tasting Notes: Tasting notes and flavor descriptions provided on the Site reflect the subjective opinions of our team or manufacturers and do not constitute a formal guarantee of individual taste perception.

4. Orders and Acceptance

  • Order Process: When you place an order on our Site, you are making an offer to purchase goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance departments.

     

  • Contract Formation: A legally binding contract between you and Tavern-Drinks is only formed when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email confirming that your goods have been shipped.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices: All prices posted on the Site are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

  • Taxes and Shipping: Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include local taxes, import duties, or delivery/shipping fees, which will be calculated and added to your total at checkout.

  • Payment Authorization: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Site. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider for the total amount of your order upon checkout.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • Estimates: Delivery dates and timeframes provided on the Site are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. We are not liable for shipping delays caused by customs processing, carrier issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

7. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

  • Statutory Rights: If you are contracting as a consumer, you have statutory rights to cancel your purchase under applicable consumer protection regulations (such as the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, where applicable).

  • Perishable & Open Goods: Due to the nature of consumable beverages, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for opened, tampered, or personalized items unless they are proven to be faulty, damaged in transit, or misdescribed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tavern-Drinks, its directors, employees, partners, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site or any products purchased through it.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tavern-Drinks operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
